When compared with the control group, the dietary Fe-Gly treatments were found to have influenced (P<0.05) the internal quality of the egg i.e. the albumen height, Haugh unit, and weight of the egg, as shown by the research. However, very few effects on the ultrastructure of the eggshell were shown by the dietary Fe-Gly supplementation.

The control group was found to have no differences compared with the 0 mg Fe-Gly/kg group, whereas the group of 60 mg Fe-Gly as Fe-Gly was promoted (P<0.05) in succinate dehydrogenase levels of the spleen and liver when compared with the 0 mg Fe-Gly/kg group. Fe-Gly (60, 80 mg Fe/kg) was found to have a higher (P<0.01) Fe concentration than the control in albumen and yolk, whereas the concentration of Fe in the eggshell, yolk, and albumen was increased with increasing concentrations of Fe-Gly.

When compared with the control group supplemented with FeSO4, the Fe-Gly groups (60, 80 mg Fe/kg) were influenced (P < 0.05) in ferroportin 1, transferrin, and divalent mental transport 1.

To conclude, the enrichment of eggs in iron content and the quality of the eggs were directly improved with the help of Iron Glycine Chelated Mineral or Fe-Gly, as shown by the study.
